Planting pots are darnet expensive. So I stole two. I stole them from my Mom (surprise Mom!) so I'm not sure if that technically counts as "stealing" per say. I'm sure she doesn't mind...I mean look at what they looked like. I probably saved her a trip to the goodwill box.
I gave them a good wash with the hose pipe and then broke out the black paint in our front yard -- the neighbors have got to think we are nuts.
I popped some flowers in them and they are looking oh so lovely on our back porch.
They are not perfect....they definitely have a lot of "character" but they will do until I decide to upgrade them.
Here's to hoping I can keep the plants alive....
