I hope everyone had the happiest Easter! We sure did! We spent lots of time hanging out...we even got to visit the lake for a little over night stay. It was great to get away but when we woke up Saturday morning the weather wasn't the greatest so we packed it up and headed home. On the way, we decided Saturday would be an excellent day to mulch our beds in the yard. Which then of course lead into tons of other yard related projects including trimming hedges, cutting grass, etc. I told Talon I felt like we were on that show Yard Crashers. Who else is obsessed with HGTV?? You really don't realize how bad these things need to be done until you start doing it. Look how bad the color of this mulch looks.....

There are several places near our house where you can buy mulch by trailer loads. This goes way further than the bags you buy at Home Depot or Lowes. We only needed to buy two loads for all of our beds.
We have a ways to go before our yard looks as good as the Nazi yard lady up the street but we are getting there.
It was a very productive Saturday at the Woods home!
